Dan Clark FurnitureOriginally trained in traditional joinery and specialising in solid wood, I moved into high end furniture a few years after completing my apprenticeship. For ten years I worked for Tintab ltd. manufacturing and installing bespoke contemporary furniture and joinery.

As well as solid timber, I am adept with veneers, glass, metals, fabrics and specialist finishes and I am also a licensed Corian fabricator.

In 2009 I designed and made the kitchen for the Groundhouse project - a tyre house or Earthship, featured on Grand Designs. Taking inspiration from the environmental principals and using the same methods, I designed and built an outbuilding using rammed earth tyres with a living biodiverse roof, with the close help of Jordan Winser Landscape Design & Build.

I am able to work closely with clients to design in an ecological and economical way on projects large or small and am open to a varying range of styles.
